Axon Logic has launched
Haptic tablet that will let you run a range of different operating systems, which include, Linux, Windows 7 and even Apple's Mac OS X. Axon
Haptic tablet is apparently designed to be suitable for hackintosh Mac OS X installations.
The Haptic tablet has a 10.1 inch LED back - lit LCD touchscreen up front that in the company's own words «will enable you to touch the world like never before».
In fact, with
the Haptic tablet, Axon Logic has set its eyes on the Apple's iPad and is enticing users by saying «touch a full blown OS instead of an OS meant for a phone,» in what is a direct reference to the iOS which is essentially the iPhone software that also finds application in the iPad albeit after necessary modifications.
Early in Israr's tenure, Poupyrev and a researcher named Olivier Bau built an early model of
the haptic tablet hardware.

Haptic actually enables it without the need for major hacking of the hardware and software.
The Tab 4 10 supports
haptic feedback, something you don't get on the iPad or on many Android
tablets, so I was able to feel a pleasant tactile response while typing.
I wish that the screen supported
haptic feedback so I could get a tactile feel when typing, but most
tablets don't have that capability.

tablet, so tapping the capacitive button gives no feedback, making it odd to use.
We've seen fingerprint sensors on phones and

haptic force - feedback technology on prototype devices on our travels, but Microsoft has come up with something quite different.
It's questionable whether the Predator 8 is more suited to gaming than any other
tablet, but the 2 × 2 MIMO Wi - Fi connection — for lower lag — and
haptic feedback system certainly make it intriguing.
