Just a little double - H logo, one that may be easily confused with the double - H logo of
Harlequin Historical, but any similarity there is purely coincidental.
I write on average eight BCBs per month for Harlequin's ebook exclusives (including Spice Briefs and
Harlequin Historical Undone) and Carina Press.
Under the bylaws, I see nothing that says that Harlequin Presents, Harlequin American,
Harlequin Historicals, and so forth can't apply as separate publishers in their own right.

Harlequin Historicals (one of the traditional category Harlequin lines — this is a new medallion logo they have added to front cover in recent months) Hh = Harlequin Horizons (the vanity / subsidy press recently launched) How they can legitimately think there won't be brand dilution is beyond me, when the biggest difference between these two brands is whether or not a letter is capitalized?

Harlequin Presents to often grittier and darker reads.
While Avon was paying advances of $ 500 for 100,000 word
historicals,
Harlequin was paying advances of between 7500 $ and $ 22,000.
