Shifting away from the federally funded
Headstart program, the new preschool
class is a more structured setting with a greater emphasis on classroom skills such as working in groups and speaking in front of a classroom as well as developing basic reading skills.
We also occasionally offer a Puppy K /
Headstart combo
class for all ages.
Headstart is great for those that don't have time for a puppy
class, want to get a jump start before a
class or for medical reasons can't get your dog into
class right away.

Headstart class is the best place to start if your rowdy adolescent missed puppy
class, if you have a newly adopted dog, or just want to have fun teaching your family dog new skills, no matter what your future goals.
Preschool, Kindergarten and
Headstart students will all progress to the Intermediate Prep as their next
class.
Puppy Preschool, Puppy Kindergarten and
Headstart are identical
classes, divided by age.
Level Two: Intermediate Prep - $ 4 wks / $ 95 - left column below The Intermediate level Prep
class is the next step for all puppies or adult dogs who have completed a group beginning
class (Puppy or
Headstart) at Diamonds in the Ruff or another positive reward - based training school.
Geared for fun and the fundamentals of agility, this
class will give your puppy a super
headstart on any future training.

Headstart and Puppy Einstein are a great place to start building and strengthening your relationship with your puppy.

Headstart & New Agility Students: Register for a
Class Simply fill in the form below to register for any of the agility
classes at SPDTC.
The club does not require membership for Puppy Einstein, Puppy
HeadStart Agility, or obedience
classes.
The obedience training will give your puppy a
headstart on the things you'll want to learn in a basic obedience
class, and the socialization will help your puppy becomes the safest, soundest, happiest adult dog they can be!
