Prior to joining IDRI, Erik was Associate General Counsel at the Bill & Melinda Gates
Foundation, where he was the second attorney on staff and worked for over seven years exclusively within the
Foundation's Global
Health Program, where he led the development and implementation of the
foundation's Global Access policy through the review of grant proposals and
assistance in structuring strategic initiatives.
