Our school
physical education schedule, curriculum,
and instruction support
and reinforce the
health and well - being of each student by addressing lifetime fitness knowledge, attitudes, behaviors,
and skills.
This course is designed to assist multiple subject credential candidates in developing the skills necessary to design
and carry out science,
health,
and physical education instruction, demonstrations
and laboratory experiences for students in elementary
and middle school programs.
c. Students who are either (i) enrolled in a nonpublic school or (ii) receiving home
instruction pursuant to § 22.1 - 254.1
and who are enrolled in a public school on less than a full - time basis in any mathematics, science, English, history, social science, vocational
education,
health education or
physical education, fine arts or foreign language course, or receiving special
education services required by a student's individualized
education plan, shall be counted in the funded fall membership
and March 31 ADM of the responsible school division.
Within the college itself are seven separate departments: Curriculum &
Instruction; Educational Leadership & Postsecondary
Education; Educational Psychology & Foundations; School of
Health,
Physical Education, & Leisure Services; Educational Opportunity Programs & Special Community Services; Department of Teaching;
and Special
Education.
Required Qualifications * Must be at least 16 years of age * Licensure requirements vary by state * Attention

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time * Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for moving from one work area to another * Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm * Extending hand (s)
and arm (s) in any direction * Bending body downward
and forward by bending spine at the waist * Stooping to a considerable degree
and requiring full use of the lower extremities
and back muscles * Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken
instructions must be conveyed accurately * Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction,
and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication * Visual Acuity: o The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small parts * Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs; exerting up to 30 lbs of force occasionally
and / or up to 10 lbs of force frequently,
and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting * Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician * PTCB National Certification
