The iPad Pro 9.7 has the Highest Contrast Rating for High Ambient Light that we have ever measured as the result of its Low Reflectance.

It has by far the lowest screen Reflectance of any mobile display, so its image colors and contrast in high ambient light will appear considerably better than on any other mobile display.

Automotive displays and Aircraft displays are the most challenging displays because the positions of the viewer (driver or pilot) and the display are both fixed and are not adjustable like on all other displays, they must be readable inspite of being unadjustable in high ambient light including direct sunlight, and operate with large viewing angles that affect brightness, contrast, and color.

Together with its low 5.7 percent screen Reflectance it has a Contrast Rating for High Ambient Light of 120, by far the largest we have ever measured for a Tablet.
