As
fans who pay astronomically
high ticket prices and others, we deserve progress, and Wenger is one of the major factors holding this
club back.
I'm going to repeat what I said earlier... this team actively pursued a policy to undermine the relationship between the
fans and the best player on this team... for all intent and purposes this is a traitorous act... so instead of spending money, which all pundits and
fans agreed was necessary in order to compete at the
highest levels, this
club was wasting time and money trying to turn
fans against Sanchez long before the end of the season (the real concerted effort started around the time that Wenger benched him for the start of the Liverpool game)... for a team that pertains to be different, like a FAMILY, and constantly questions the tactics of it's opponents, to engage in such a treasonous act is deplorable
Although many will suggest that Robson has a personal vendetta of sorts aimed squarely at the Grinch who stole soccer, that doesn't make his words any less truthful... such tactics are nothing new... in the U.S.this business practice has become so common that even the players regularly use the media to manipulate public opinion (LeBron James did likewise to rally public support for himself and away from his teammate, Kyrie Irving, who has asked to be traded)... whether for contract leverage or to rally support for or against certain players, this strategy can be incredibly effective at times, but when it misses the mark it can be dangerously divisive... for a close - to - the - vest team like Arsenal to use such nefarious means to manufacture a wedge between the
fans and it's best player (again), is absolutely despicable... for the sanctimonious
higher - ups who demand that it's players adhere to a certain protocol regarding information deemed «in house» or else to intentionally spread «fake» news or to provide certain outlets with privileged information for such purposes is pretty low indeed... no moral
high ground here, just a big
club pretending to be a small
club so that they can continue to pull the wool over the eyes of a dedicated, albeit somewhat naive,
fan base... so not only does this
club no give a shit about it's
fans, this clearly shows that
clubs primary interests aren't even soccer related... for all intent and purposes Kroenke doesn't care if we're a soccer
club or a tampon factory as long as we continue to maximized his investment... stay woke people... great to see more and more people commenting on the state of the franchise... this
club needs to be held accountable for it's actions
Think
fan power works well at lower league
clubs but soon as you get in to the
higher echelons with mega bucks it all evaporates.
Anyway, some of us still believe a
club like Arsenal (not Arsene football
club) with the
fan potential and fervour SHOULD be aiming for
higher objective... Not finish 10 points behind Leicester and conclude it was a great season knowing that none of the big firms had performed.
If we do win the League it will be a huge achievement for Wenger and the
club, one in which
fans would love Wenger to stay on as manager — or walk out of the
club on a
high.
It's embarrassing that our ticket prices are so
high that other
clubs feel the need to subsidise their
fans» away tickets...
Wenger keeps his job because he loves the
club and manages to keep us n the top four every season and ECL witch is good for the board because it keeps the share prices up and pays huge dividends to the owners of those shares but
fans pay the
highest prices in europ and the board manipulate the AKB's and al the other
fans who love the tradition of the
club and fear th change that MUST come if we are to ever move forward.
The
club also demands
fans pay
higher ticket prices than any other.
I try to consider each post and as you know after a while you get a feel of the type of
fan and person who writes in offering their thoughts and I have the absolute
highest regard for Jon Fox and his views as they are totally in line with my own.I sometimes FEEL the passion with how and what Jon writes. He is on record as having given up his season ticket as protest against the mismanagement and decline of our
club and that to me is akin to the Ultimate Sacrifice. How frustratedhe feels is written in his posts and I would trust you could at least respect this from him.
Wins when the team is filled with fresh,
high - priced talent and then he leaves the
club when the players and
fans have had enough of his nonsense and the cracks in the armor are very apparent.
If
fans will not boycott the games and stop paying for the tickets then let us at least unite and tell Silent Stan that the CEO is not making him the money that he could, if Silent Stan starts to see Gazidis as a loss to profit then maybe we can get an ambitious CEO in who will help us be ambitious and win titles, use that then to get better business done and add to the value of the
clubs assets (players), remove the lowest value players (not good enough for AFC) and replace them with
high value assets which will increase in value when we are winning / truly competing at the
highest level.
A
high volume of
fans had spent the summer using their social media accounts to implore the
club to sign Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus, and others used theirs to champion the appointment of Jurgen Klopp as manager (via Echo).
If we are to go by Arsenal «wage structure» then Wenger shouldn't be earning 8mil, and Stan and Gazidi should be milking the
club 1 - 3mil yearly,
fans shouldn't be paying the
highest ticket.
How terribly sad... we have fallen so far that we find ourselves in the ridiculous position of propping up the oft - injured and rarely inspirational Jack Wiltshire... what's next, extending Walcott, Welbeck and Ramsey... can't you see that these players have nothing to do with winning and all to do with providing recognizable names to the plastic
fans who frequent our overgrown library of a stadium... it's
high time we rid this
club of one of the worlds most incompetent and unsuccessful owners (look it up) and our fragile and spineless manager (much like our
club) who can't bring in the best talent because he knows he can't live up to expectations that come with players of that ilk... think about it, he couldn't even handle Sanchez, who was largely a periphery character in Barcelona
Arsenal
fans are gullible and are used by the media to disrupt the team spirit, where other teams sing
high praise about their
clubs» (lesser) achievements.

I don't know if it's because the
high ticket prices exclude the drunker, noisier
fans, or if the environment is too much like a
club / movie theater to encourage the
fans to create a home field advantage, but it doesn't surprise me at all that Dallas is better on the road.
Stop being such a contrary oaf and realize that for the money the
fans pay and the cash the
club has to spend we SHOULD be competing at a far
higher level over a period of seasons NOT scrambling for fourth spot each year apart from this season when everybody was off thier game.
Well fellow Gooners, if you're feeling frustrated like me at seeing the
club owned by a very wealthy foreign businessman who sees Arsenal FC as a business opportunity, who rules the
club, takes out as much from the profits as he can, while
fans are charged the
highest ticket prices in the world and ignored... it turns out that it does not have to be like this.
We have quite an impressive collection of trophies ourselves, and we also have a much larger
fan base, a
higher club revenue and value, a bigger stadium, a better reputation in Europe and at the moment, a much better team.
Regardless of what he said his intention is not to enable the
club to compete at the
higher levels as he takes cash from the
club but adds nothing by way of real investment, He's NOT the only culprit though the rest of the baord are as complicate in this as Silent stan The idea that the author is prpomoting is a great idea if there was any cohesion between the
fans groups and someone who had enough capitol to back it up into some action, sadly we live in a world where 80 % of the worlds wealth is controlled by 20 % of the worlds population and silent stan is one of those 20 % he ai nt going anywhere any time soon and thats the sad fact.
However once
fans digested that we had been willing to pay the going rate and that players had turned down being the
highest earners in our history,
fans would have accepted that any
club's protocol would now be to cash in on individuals who don't want to be there anymore.
nice to see you crawl out of your hole just in time to offer your 2 cents worth once again... unlike yourself I started following this team long before Wenger arrived on the scene and will continue to do so long after he's gone... in his earlier years I admired the cerebral elements he brought to the EPL, which at that point was more brutish than beautiful, and I respected the seemingly tireless efforts of Arsene, Dein & staff to uncover and develop talent without sacrificing the product on the field... likewise I appreciated that such a youthful manager wasn't afraid to bring strong personalities and / or world - class players into the fold without being fearful of how said players would potentially undermine and / or dilute his authority... unfortunately this all changed about 10 years ago and culminated in the removal of all our greatest players, both young and old, without any real replacements coming in... from Henry to RVP to Fabergas and Nasri, it was easy to see that this
club was no longer interested in competing at the
highest levels... instead of being honest, minus the ridiculous claims regarding the new stadium, Wenger chose to side with management and in doing so became the «front man» for this corporation pretending to be a world - class soccer
club... without the «front man» this organization would have been exposed numerous years earlier, so his presence was imperative if the facade was to continue... it's for this reason and more that I despise what this once great man and Kroenke has done to my beloved
club... the gutless, shameful and manipulative way they have treated the
fans, like myself, is largely indefensible and this is why I felt it necessary to start offering my opinion in a public format... trust me, I resisted the temptation for many years but as long as the same shit continues to exist I will voice my opinions and if you don't like it maybe you should look for a different team to pretend to follow
Ever since I was a kid and started supporting AFC, I've been a big
fan of Wenger and everything he did for our
club in the past, as most Gunners would agree and held him in
high regards.
With the 46 game season and a playoff semi-final victory all now coming down to one final game, tensions and nerves are set to run
high for both
fans and players of the two
clubs and all concerned as it comes down to this final 90 minutes.
How else can you explain that football
fans who should be interested on football matters do hold a person interest
higher than that of their own and the
clubs?
I think its time for usmanov to make his second bid at 2 billion for the
club, I also think its
high time you
fans do something and stop priding yourselves in dumb support.
I hope that he manages to find himself another
club to show that he does still have the ability the Arsenal
fans were treated to, and the Euros will be a great shop window for him toprove to suitors that he can stillplay at a
high level.
i would rather urge the team to have their wits about them, to be bold and to be aware they are privileged to be playing at the
highest level at one of the bests
clubs in the world so its time to be committed AND repay the
fans who follow the
club through the wind and rain the good times and bad.
it's time for this
club to put it's money where it's mouth is... no more half measures, no more settling, no more making money hand - over-fist with little to show for it, no more excuses and no more hiding behind the idea that this is «small»
club that can't compete with the «big boys»... the only real difference between them and us is what the manager demands and what the owner is willing to give... we play in the League with the richest tv contract in Europe, we have one of the largest home venues with some of the
highest ticket prices on the continent, we have several major corporate sponsors, we have one of the largest
fan bases in the World whom purchase a ridiculous amount of merchandise, we rake in coin on tour each and every preseason and we have banked countless millions from qualifying for and participating in various competitions at home and abroad
the
club recieves the
highest money from
fans and is one of the richest
clubs in the world, the press stated today that kronkie is looking at Henry to return in some manger role where as Ustinov wants simone
I won't spare I thought for a man pocketing over # 8 million a year for being really bad at his job, and costing the
club over a decade of success, whilst the
fans are forced to pay the
highest ticket prices in the world.
Although he has previously been regarded as a top talent for his performances at previous
club Atlhletic Bilbao, Liverpool
fans may feel they should be aiming
higher in the transfer market.
Deluded manager plus greedy board has created a crisis at arsenal with third rate players being paid first rate wages to keep them loyal and drugged up
fans like yourself overdosing on 4th place
high... True
fans want change when they see the
club going in wrong direction not a string of drug crazed platitudes from tribal loyalists who are so deluded themselves that they actually believe the blame for the crisis lies with the people who have been pointing to its causes... Do you think financial crises only happen because people start warning about overlevaraged banks, the speculative and fraudulent behaviour of their overpaid employees and the indulgence of their massively overpaid senior management... Pathetic comment
I am sorry if you thought I was being disrespectful, I have compared him to Vieira which I feel is
high praise coming from a lifelong Arsenal
fan, I have recognised that he has done very well and I do personally believe he could make it in one of the Manchester
clubs (Replace Yaya?).
Arsenal
Fans pay the
highest home ticket prices in the Premier League and have a very
high season ticket price, especially in comparison to some of Europe's biggest
clubs.
In effect much of the money at the
club comes from the
fans and with some of the
highest ticket prices in Europe, the
fans have the right to have the
highest expectations.
I really wish Kroenke would take a good look at
clubs like Barca and Madrid — keep the
fans happy and you will more than enough money not only to sustain the
club but also compete at the
highest level.
Kylian Mbappe will no doubt be
high on the wishlists of
fans, but unfortunately I believe there will be too many big
clubs in for his signature and we may miss out.
should local
fans that cheer the lads on week in week out have a
higher priority, or should any
club member nationally or internationally have an equal say?
Haven't heard from that moron TW14 guy... Another fake
fan high on wenger juice... Go and form your cult and stop pretending to be a supporter of this once great
club
Considering we had four games remaining, needed to secure 9 pts minimum to qualify and two of those games were against BAYERN MUNICH, an undisputed top - 3
club in the world, I dare say you were already talking of Europa League... So please don't try to come across as any form of
high - standards
fan when you bash the team constantly, you can't have it both ways.
It is
high time stop all these negativity if we actually care about this
club and we want to enjoy being arsenal
fan again.
there is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments in the formative years of his managerial career at Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this
club... there have been numerous managers at each of the biggest
clubs in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns than ours yet somehow and someway each were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy of their respective
clubs... of course that doesn't mean that
clubs should simply follow the lead of others, especially if
clubs of note have become too reactionary when it comes to issues of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting of parameters for a changing of the guard... in the case of Arsenal, this sort of discourse was largely stifled when the
higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar too low... it reminds me of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then does a complete about face when the market is lean and vacancies are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they of course feel cheated but there is little they can do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more about profitability than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong
fans of a football
club it's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they, in most cases we have been around far longer than them... so how does one deal with such an untenable situation... do you simply shut - up and hope for the best, do you place the best interests of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them, do you run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately changed, do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence, do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could be worse or do you stand up for what you believe in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber of your being tells you that something is rotten in the state of Denmark
On one hand
clubs and
fans demand to be as
high in the league as possible, it's must to play against the best in Europe.
Managers and players r only temporal and will one time depart leaving us the
fans with our great
club and new faces.Though we are the most disappointed
fans in the world after
high expectations of summer signings we got no option but to rally behind our brilliant soldiers to the end. There comes a time when the
club is more important than an individual, all in all I am proud to be a gunner from Kenya.
You AKB's should be mature enough to see the faults that we as a
club are suffering from, if it were perfect we would have a cabinet full of trophies and regardless of what is happening behind the scenes THATS what
fans want and in light of the
highest prices we pay, also deserve.
