I really thought these designs were a big step backward as the roster in
Homecoming and Origins were more varied and more in line with the disturbing quality expected in a Silent
Hill game.
We've seen it in
games like Mortal Kombat, Duke Nukem 3D, The Last of Us, and Silent

Think about it like this; you know how some fans say «think of SH4 or
Homecoming as their own
games and not actually Silent

Hill Homecoming is greatly inspired by the 2006 film; featuring the same Pyramid Head design by Patrick Tatopoulos (called Bogeyman in the
game) and the «bobble head» nurses affected by light.
The award for most screens this week goes to Silent
Hill:

Hill Homecoming weren't exactly well received from critics and users alike and neither were the movie - based
games.
Skulking in the shadows, acquiring development studios like Double Helix (Killer Instinct, Silent
Hill:
Homecoming), key industry talent like Kim Swift (Senior developer at Valve when they still made
games), and launching their Fire TV.
Interestingly, Vatra Games said that Pyramid Head would not appear in this
game, but technically... he appears different to everyone and he was called Bogey Man in Silent
Hill:
Homecoming so... that's up to you to decide.

gamers were Left 4 Dead 2, Gears of War 2, Condemned 2, Fear 1 & 2, Dead Space 1, Silent

After thos are put up for purchase they need to go back to their catalog and fill in the gaps as there are some quality older
games that are MIA (Left 4 Dead 1 & 2, Orange Box, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Brutal Legend, FEAR, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Enslaved, Saboteur, Stranglehold, Silent
Hill:
Homecoming).
Homecoming's creators made the decision (some would say mistake) of turning combat into a major focus of the
game when traditionally this has never been Silent
Hill's strength.
