Honor is quickly becoming one of the best manufacturers of budget and
midrange phone.
The Leica branding between the
phone's two rear cameras gives it an air of prestige, but compared to Huawei's own Nova and
Honor 8, the Mate 9's looks aren't nearly as striking — and let's not forget that both of those
phones are
midrange devices that cost hundreds less.
The
Honor 7X wasn't the only great
phone to come out of
Honor's factories recently — the
Honor View 10 is aiming to blow the
midrange market apart, with a Kirin 970 processor, a hefty dual - sensor camera, and a massive bezel-less screen.
Last year's Huawei
Honor 8 is still one of the best
midrange phones on the market, but as expected, the Chinese OEM replaced the
phone with a new Huawei
Honor 9 in July this year.

If there's a gap in TextNow's
phone selection, it's a lack of recent
midrange devices, such as the Moto G5 Plus or the
Honor 6X.

Honor 6X, Huawei puts a lot into a
midrange phone, including a rear fingerprint sensor, a 5.5 - inch FHD screen and 2 rear cameras.
But derivative as the look is, it's hard to be too displeased with the design; the
Honor 7X feels like it could cost several hundred dollars more than it does, which is really all anyone's asking for in a
midrange phone.
Among currently available
phones, the
Honor View 10 is best positioned to fill the void of flagship
phone with
midrange price tag that the OnePlus 5T is vacating.

midrange Qualcomm processors by offering Huawei's own octa - core Kirin 655 CPU, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage.
The
phone is the company's first venture in dual camera technology, and is being positioned as a
midrange phone in direct competition with Huawei's
Honor 8.
Since then
Honor has launched winning
midrange phones — the
Honor 7X and the
Honor 9 Lite — along with the excellent
