Most of our
dog breeds have some form of aggression in them, since they needed different forms of aggression to do their work: terriers
are often aggressive towards other
dogs and animals — they
were and
are fighters, the man working
dogs imprint humans as
being of their same species so they
show the same kind of aggression that they
show towards other
dogs, the sight
hounds were bred to
be killers of game and sometimes other canines, the mastiffs
were bred to take down large game and guard property, the flock guards
were bred to
be aggressive towards canines, the
hounds were bred to
be aggressive towards furred animals, some of the pointers
were bred to
be able to guard the hunter's game, etc., etc..
In addition to his work as a veterinarian, Dr. Klein
is a well - known member of the
dog show community, where he actively breeds and
shows Afghan
Hounds.

In the more severe cases, a greyhound can bond with one person in the family and start
showing signs of anxiety when that person in not in sight, despite the fact that there
are other family members and / or
dogs in the same room with the
hound.
On the other hand,
dogs that
show less aptitude to picking things up quickly or
are a little more on the stubborn side would
be Dalmatians, Basset
Hounds and Beagles.

hound who has heart / lung issues, possibly lung cancer, and several very suspicious masses.
Some breeds: Bassett
Hounds, English Springer Spaniels, Dachsunds, Labrador Retrivers and Yorkshire Terriers
showed more aggression after
being altered, where Golden Retrievers, Poodles, Shetland Sheepdogs, Rottweilers, Siberian Huskies and West Highland Terriers
were either just as likely, or less likely to have
shown aggression toward other
dogs when altered.
This type of cancer
is most often found in
dogs between 6 and 10 years of age, with Keeshonds, Basset
Hounds, Collies, and Standard Schnauzers
showing a predisposition for the disease.
