In many ways, Ed Cator framed the wiki in a way that exemplified many of the social
practices of Web 2.0;
however, given dominant orientations to teacher education in universities and K - 12 schools, many teachers and teacher educators may have little experience with collaborative
practices that involve distributed participation and expertise and
flexible norms for social interaction that are relatively open to improvisation, if not («naughty») subversions of the status quo.
