human being (the «minute particular»); and (10) as the sole creator of a post-biblical Christian apocalypse, he has given Christendom its only vision of a total cosmic reversal of history.
Grace
alone seems to have the
power to free us from nature's deterministic instincts; but that doesn't mean that the wisdom and freedom to become fully
human in the sense of being able to discern and choose more god - like behavior is easily achieved or sustained.
Because he
alone has the
power to invest
human endeavour and enrichment with positive aspirations and a positive objective, the Christian teacher
alone is in a position to fulfil, both in the consciousness he employs and the consciousness he transmits, the total function of the educator.
