for their baby cows!
As I teach my kids, cow's milk is
for baby cows.
And so, cow dairy is created
for baby cows.
So kind of something I've read a while ago was and which got me thinking a lot about this topic and probably why we're all so interested in it is that cow's milk is the perfect food
for baby cows right so why is it being you know it's not surely the perfect food for humans.
Some one commented that cow's milk is
for baby cows and some one else asked why should we drink milk from other spiecies.

In other words, how do we reason that the milk from the cow is only
for baby cows, but everything else is for humans?
There is, however, something to be said about the notion that cow milk was made
for baby cows (and goat milk for kids, etc.).
After all, cow's milk is excellent

for a growing
baby under 12 months old, including
cow's milk.
A
baby is absolutely fine to just have breast milk
for their first six months, but eventually you will want to get them on
cow's milk.

This time, I tried
Cow & Gate
baby food packets which I purchased from Feeding
for Life.
Cow's milk is modified
for baby use by adjusting the levels of carbohydrate, protein as well as fat and fortifying it with additional vitamins and minerals (the majority of both soy and milk based formulas give 20 calories per ounce).
Cow's milk is probably going to be an important part of your
baby's diet
for several years of his or her toddler life and childhood both.
For human
babies, breast milk is overwhelmingly better, and parents should wait until their children turn 1 before introducing
cow's milk, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. William Sears in The
Baby Book recommends against soy formula as a first choice
for many reasons including that «30 - 50 percent of infants who are allergic to
cow's milk protein are also allergic to soy protein,» and that «giving an infant soy at a young age, when intestines are more permeable to allergens, may predispose the child to soy allergies later on, even as an adult.»
It was our impression that
babies should avoid anything that contained
cow's milk
for their first year...... but we were wrong!
Cow's milk is not appropriate
for babies because it doesn't provide enough of certain nutrients.
Several soy - based formulas are approved by the Food and Drug Administration
for babies, and these are good alternatives when a
baby is allergic to lactose or
cow's milk.
Did your research not show you that in those days, those mothers who cat breastfeed at all or not enough
for the
baby introduce
cow milk and goat milk?
This newer formula by Gerber is
for babies who have a confirmed allergy to
cow's milk protein.
Hypoallergenic formulas are occasionally recommended by pediatricians
for babies who have a severe problem digesting
cow's milk based formula or soy formula.
According to the Enfamil website, this formula is
for babies with severe
cow's milk protein or multiple food protein allergies.
The restricted diets only work
for people whose
babies only have trouble with specific proteins - the proteins in
cow's milk and soy being two of the most common ones to cause problems.
So do some research on the internet in your area and look
for raw
cow or preferably goat milk and you will be well on your way to having the most important ingredient as the base of creating your own
baby food.
For one,
babies have greater difficulty digesting
cow's milk proteins.
Many parents are often anxious to make the switch from
baby formula over to
cow's milk
for one reason or the other — the cost of formula, to celebrate a new milestone, whatever.
Because it contains
cow's milk protein, lactose - free formulas do not work
for babies who are truly allergic to milk.
