We already have a small army of Fire Emblem and Kid

At the very least it's not more damn Kid
Icarus characters, I guess.
Again, I point out the abundance of Kid
Icarus characters and references in the newest installments of the series (there weren't even any new Zelda characters).
If you improve the graphics a bit, implement some more Kid
Icarus characters and gameplay elements and finish a few more levels, you'll have a damn decent fan game based on the franchise.

Icarus fans who would get it, it was more of a rant that it's not a popular
character compared to the others from the amiibo series.

OMG im pretty sure there is going to be a mother 4 because in Nintendo Power magazine vol 275 january february issue there was an interview with the creator of the new kid
icarus game masahiro sakurai (he is known for giving revivals to games) and he was asked if he wanted to give a revival to a long dormant game or
character what would it be, to which he replied that he might have something in mind to be released before the new smash bros and since itoi said he wanted to be the player of the game, not the creator maybe masahiro sakurai is taking over the series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brawl will feature new
characters, including (but not limited to) MetaKnight, Pit (from Kid
Icarus), Zero Suit Samus, Wario, and Snake from Konami's Metal Gear series.
At the end of the press event, Nintendo also announced one more new
character: Palutena of the «Kid
Icarus» series.
Universe information from a couple of days ago with a tweet, making it very clear that he's still busy wrapping up Kid
Icarus: Uprising, and that
characters for the next Smash Bros. are far from decided yet.

In a way, Brawlhalla commits to the Kid
Icarus: Uprising mentality that the weapon is the fighter, and in that sense, each of the 11 currently available
characters is actually a preset duo chosen from a pool of 6 «fighters» that can only tag in and out when standing atop a weapon icon.
While I can at least appreciate that Palutena is a unique
character and not a clone (the only such
character on this list), there are so many more deserving and popular
characters out there who didn't make the cut, while Palutena more or less got a free ticket just because Sakurai made Kid
Icarus Uprising.

characters battle each other on your desk through augumented reality?
Nameless hero gets a name of your choice (one
character suggests «Pit,» perhaps as a nod to the Nintendo franchise Kid
Icarus, or perhaps a very strange form of foreshadowing).
Nintendo sweetened the pot even further at E3 2014, debuting new
characters such as Palutena from «Kid
Icarus» and the highly customizable Mii Fighter while showing off compatibility with its upcoming Amiibo toy platform.
When used, Pit will engage in conversation with Palutena and Viridi about the
character Pit is facing, though other
characters appear for a few conversations, and are based upon the conversations that occur in Kid
Icarus: Uprising.
Especially when one considers that Kid
Icarus, a series that didn't even have a new entry for over two decades, has three

Considering Sakurai — who also created Kirby — refrained from adding additional Kirby
characters in the series» first two entries out of humility, the Kid
Icarus: Uprising self - appreciation becomes all the more jarring.

character is a muscle - bound hero with
Icarus - like wings.

character, Palutena from Kid
Icarus.
