Restoring a
few of these cut - scenes would put much - needed flesh back on this skeletal film, though it's worth noting that many of them still suffer from Haythe's insecure shoehorning of subtext into the dialogue, as

The action scenes are not particularly exciting, it's the quitter
moments in the darkness,
where anything can happen, that delivers the

While there are
moments where the film gets it right, they're too
few and way too far
in between to save the film from lukewarm mediocrity.
Like Henderson's drama teacher, Miguel has
few lines, but there's a
