This section will make brief mention of the activities of the Federal Council for the Advancement of Aborigines & Torres Strait Islanders (FCAATSI) and then focus on the three
organisations that have been
involved in national
Indigenous representation:

organisations nominating representatives to the national structure, or alternatively, provide for the participation of these bodies in a purely advisory capacity;
