Over the past few weeks, I had the privilege of developing three
recipes using Just BARE ® chicken for the Just BARE ® Chicken +5
Ingredient Challenge; it was just a fun creative process for me and the
ingredients were incredibly diverse as all of them were submitted by fans!
I've heard that Southpark will just give you the
recipe if you ask, but I was interested in learning more about its mysterious new - to - me
ingredient, Gochujang paste, so I decided to take it as a
challenge.
So inspired by some of our favorite
recipes from the
challenge, I'm excited to introduce to you this Peachy Pineapple Green Smoothie
recipe made with some of our new favorite
ingredients.
The
ingredients were: raspberries, peanut butter chips, edamame, lemon, yeast, whole wheat pastry flour, bacon, buttermilk, basil, zucchini and the
challenge was to use at least two to create a unique
recipe.
Random
recipe maybe in the title of this post, but it's actually a random
ingredient we had to select this month for the Random
Recipes challenge over at Belleau Kitchen.
I simply want to
challenge you to create a
recipe or even just use an
ingredient that I find interesting or tasty.

They sent me a mystery «Pantry in a Box,» and I had the fun
challenge of coming up with a
recipe using the
ingredients in the box.
This results in difficulties in terms of product formulation — especially when it comes to the minimization of
ingredients used in the
recipes, as well as a number of other
challenges.
It will be getting used all week in various dishes I'm taking part in the One
Ingredient Chef's 30 - Day
Challenge and your
recipe fit in perfectly.
Tastespotting and Dole Bananas are
challenging people to create a banana split
recipe that's both healthy and under 350 calories... I'm not sure how many calories are in my
recipe but I've kept the
ingredients as healthy, fresh and natural as possible.
So, this month's
recipe redux celebrates the new year by

For the grand finale, I introduce to you

challenge, she opted for a beautiful
ingredient we were supposed to use in our
recipes: coconut it is!
Over 20 vegan food bloggers were given a
challenge: create a
recipe using the 3 secret
ingredients in the Mystery Box.
Sam and Andrew put together this fun little
challenge where they sent out a virtual mystery box of
ingredients that your
recipe has to include.
Fortunately, my love for trying new
recipes,
ingredients, and cooking methods made re-learning how to cook seem more like a fun
challenge than an unfortunate circumstance.
McCormick
challenged me to come up with a 5 -
ingredient recipe for their fiesta so I kept the base of these fish tacos simple with this flavorful marinade using their spices as well as white corn tortillas and a very important and substantial squeeze of lime to finish them off.
Andrew and I selected 3 mystery
ingredients, and then we
challenged vegan (or mostly vegan) bloggers from across the web to create a
recipe using these three
ingredients!
The
challenge is to create a quinoa chopped - style
recipe using a specific set of holiday
ingredients, starring Ancient Harvest Quinoa Harmony Tri-Colored Blend organic quinoa.
I just love the
challenge of discovery of the
ingredients of a
recipe.
This year I've
challenged myself to try different things in the kitchen, whether that be new
recipes or new
ingredients, I want to try and get out of my comfort zone a bit.
This week's
recipe challenge ingredients included cornmeal flour, dried safflower and Cottage Lane Kitchen Spicy Pepper Relish.
And even though eating gluten free during passover isn't the most difficult thing to do, it can get
challenging, since a lot of products and
recipes call for matzah, matzah meal and other gluten containing
ingredients.
The longer it takes to make a croissant, the more
ingredients on the list, the more
challenging and time - consuming, the more appealing a
recipe has always been to me.
The
challenge with this
recipe was being able to add enough
ingredients to the sweet potato to make it taste and act like chocolate mousse, without diffusing the sweetness too much and making it taste bitter.
In the eyes of a
recipe developer - especially one who accepts the
challenge of reinventing traditional
recipes by using more wholesome
ingredients as substitutions, this equates to
recipe success!
The Mulligatawny Soup
Recipe is great, but it did prove
challenging the first time we made it because a few of the
ingredients were impossible to find in our small town super market.
My
challenge was to use healthier
ingredients like Carrington Farms Coconut Cooking Oil and Flax Chic Blend to create a homemade, guilt - free
recipe and then bake it with my new T - fal cookie sheets.
I
challenged myself to create as many delicious dishes as I could with those
ingredients, and in the end, I not only created
recipes that I will continue to make (hello, grilled kale and black cod over cauliflower mash), but I showed myself that limits are only as limiting as you allow them to be.
Making the appropriate
ingredient substitutions is the main
challenge in creating a dairy - and gluten - free version of it, and I knew I needed a
recipe I could fully rely on.
I'm trying this 2 - week
challenge and would like to input the meals in the iPad app, but can't figure out a way to do it other than typing in every
ingredient in the
recipe.
