Jail in Atlanta, GA for inmates to be paired with
dogs in need of adoption.
Located in Gainesville, Florida, our prison - based

programs pair adoptable
dogs from Alachua County Animal Services with inmates from the Florida Dept. of Corrections and the Alachua County
Jail.
The
dogs who enter the
program gain invaluable behavior modification and the inmates at the
jail get all of the benefits that canines bring, just by being
dogs — acceptance, stress relief and a bit of joy.
Mike is a certified SAFER evaluator and has developed the CHS and LCAS canine training
programs, also leading our Beyond the Bars training
program with the Wiscasset Regional
Jail that provides behavior modification to shelter
dogs with special obedience challenges.
Canine CellMates began in Fulton County
Jail, in Atlanta, Georgia and works to provide a
program that is as much about rehabilitation and the reduction of recidivism as it is about saving shelter
dogs.
Other collateral assignments include Tiburon instructor, team member of Guide
Dog program and asset inventory auditor for Travis County
Jail.
