saying of
Jesus.

point it back

point of it Wrong,,, otherwise why does it
say (He who loves me, keeps my commandments) almost
at the same time as it
says (I give you a new commandment, love...) in short, Yes,

this is just my own personal theory, but I suspect the reason
Jesus cursed the fig tree that He did, was because he was probably tired, and hungry to the
point of low blood sugar or hypoglycemia, and it made Him irritable... naturally, He was walking around in a body like ours, as it is
said, like us in every way but sin... everybody tries to read something woowoo theological into it but maybe He was just tired and hungry, and irritability is a symptom for a number of conditions, but especially blood glucose or migraine issues... maybe He had migraines... I get those myself... just my theory, so the two Bible scholars that keep coming on here shouldn't shoot bible verses
at me... just sayin... Good «toon, David
«
At precisely those
points of urgent need... Paul is most conscious that he is writing as one authorized, by the apostolic call he had received from

saying has no earlier history in the tradition; the
point at issue is the question of repentance in face of a challenge, certainly a major concern of the message of the historical
Jesus; the references to the queen of the South and the men of Nineveh are vividly apposite and absolutely in accord with
Jesus» use of unlikely good examples in his comparisons (the Good Samaritan); and the element of warning in the
saying coheres with a major aspect of the message of the parables.
