I have in my time made rosary cakes for the Feast of the Holy Rosary and lavender butter for the Assumption, when herbs have traditionally been blessed; my friend Debbie, mother of Annie the Beekeeper,
does things like angel hair pasta for St. Michael and All Angels, and «Untidy St. Josephs,» a.k.a. Sloppy
Joes, for any feast involving the Most Chaste Spouse.
Eating together doesn't need to be fancy: Order in and ask some frineds to
joing you for a movie night and share about things they're struggling with and things they're grateful for.
I also used an acorn squash because they

I also only had almond meal (trader
joes) unblanched, and substituted fresh lime juice for the vinegar and used 1tbsp olive oil, didn't have coconut oil.
I don't live near a Trader
Joes or a Whole Foods, but I
do live by several Kroger stores and I have found all of the ingredients I need in these recipes at Kroger.

I didn't grow up eating traditional sloppy
joes as a kid, the closest thing that came to a Sloppy Joe in my house was picadillo on a roll (which is quite good by the way) so when I got a recipe request for a lighter Sloppy Joe, I had to
do some research.
I posted the photo on facebook as a bit of a joke, where it got a rousing lot of love and recipe requests, so I'm sharing this desperate dinner love with you, cause who doesn't like sloppy

Amanda — I don't know what stores you have by you, but in NYC I can get it easily at Whole Foods, and often Trader
Joes and from Fresh Direct.
That said, it didn't particularly taste like sloppy
joes.

Turns out Lentil Sloppy
Joes have been
done A LOT, but there was one recipe in particular that I came across and could not get out of my head.
Lentil sloppy
joes are one of my favorite meals, but Josh doesn't like them (ohhh no more left overs for me!).

Joes Organic flake coconut and I didn't even have to scrape down the sides.
I also went to Trader
Joes to get more almond butter, but they didn't have any on the shelf nor in the warehouse, so ran all over town looking for it.
I made some lentil sloppy

did not care for it very much.
I always buy that Trader
Joes pizza crust, such a blank canvas ready to be painted, love what you
did here... I'm a huge cheese lover but my recent tries of cashew cheese definitely make for a great dairy free combo.
