You hold
the Joycon in a thumbs up position and lean them in different directions to make the characters move.
Being able to take this funfest anywhere you want on - the - go, while still having a pair of controllers for multiplayer shenanigans (you only need one
joycon in order to play it!)
Though the motion controls may take a few minutes to get used to, once you do, they play like a dream, and I found myself actively wanting to play with

The Pro Controller definitely has fully functioning gyros which are fit for purpose, as we've seen with many other Switch games, but
in Resident Evil Revelations, you need to be using
JoyCon for gyro aiming.

The gameplay seems to suit the style of the Switch
JoyCon controller since it is pretty minimal
in term of the control requirements.
And what's more, there's a nice little bonus thrown into the mix — Pac - Man Vs. This multiplayer game was first made popular
in the GameCube era, and although its multiplayer takes a little bit to set up (what with the needed
JoyCon controllers and all), it's a great deal of fun, as one of you plays Pac - Man and the others the ghosts trying to devour him.

You can always dock the
joycons or use a pro controller if you wish, but Nintendo really went all out

joycons feels smoother than they did at E3 (though the E3 demo also didn't explain the motion - controls
in full detail, so maybe I just know what I'm doing now).

My favorite use that I noticed was when I used a sock mace to knock someone out during the tutorial level, and there was a medium intensity rumble
in the right
joycon only.
Playing
in tablet mode with the
Joycons separated is also not ideal.
They can also be charged using a charging grip but you will have to buy that separately as the one included
in the box does not have the Nintendo Switch
JoyCon charging feature.
The Nintendo Switch has already been shown to have a dedicated screenshot button
in one of the
JoyCon controllers, so taking screenshots shouldn't be too hard.
But this can be pushed
in a variety of ways, by using sound synthesizers and making
JoyCon behave
in different ways.
The names of all the accessories are
JoyCon L and
JoyCon R,
JoyCon Shell,
JoyCon Pro,
JoyCon Shoot (similar to the unused Wii U Zapper Concept),
JoyCon Wheel (an advance version of the Wii Wheel Concept),
JoyCon Arcade (an Arcade fight stick where the Switch Core can also plug into it Independence of the TV) and the JoyView (cheap VR helmet similar
in function and low price to the Google Daydream).
The four buttons on a single
JoyCon act as a spare stick, but they limit you to an 8 - way shot style, which can really hinder your precision
in a heated battle.

Wii boxing was so much for me and I enjoyed it but
in all honesty if nintendo wants to make a good game with minigames they should try and make switch sports because since there are 2
joycons there is alot of potential games that could be made.
The
JoyCon also has a wide variety of variations that are going to be coming with the initial console; the
JoyCon can be attached to a variety of different objects, ranging from making a handheld setup with the Switch's JoyCons attached to the sides of the Switch's portable screen, to a run - of - the - mill controller that's
in a similar vein to the Wii U Pro controller.
When playing as a handheld the
JoyCon are comfortable, and their placement gives the system a super-widescreen feel not unlike the Atari Lynx (but
in a good way, honest).
Simply put, as you may have already seen
in reports elsewhere, the
JoyCon have connection issues.
The
JoyCon should work just as well but here we are: if you plan on playing your Switch mostly at home, you should give serious consideration to investing
in one of these.
In fairness, the price is likely down to the fact that the Pro Controller also has a lot of the
JoyCon functionality built into it.
There's one far bigger flaw surrounding the
JoyCon — be it
in the Grip or on their own — and it's one that really needs to be addressed pronto if Nintendo doesn't want a PR disaster on its hands.
