It also offers wireless multiplayer for 2 different systems in local co-op and supports the
JoyCon controller so you can simply
play a multiplayer match with a friend on the go.
You can even
play local multiplayer using a single set of
JoyCon — which is a nice, surprising feature that works really well!
With just about any multiplayer game on the Wii U (and more likely, Wii as well) given potential to just «pick up and
play together» with the already 2 - player - ready
Joycons, Nintendo could easily pull this is a few incentives for each release.
And what's more, there's a nice little bonus thrown into the mix — Pac - Man Vs. This multiplayer game was first made popular in the GameCube era, and although its multiplayer takes a little bit to set up (what with the needed
JoyCon controllers and all), it's a great deal of fun, as one of you

play the game the way it was intended, but also adding in

There is another control option that sees you making the most of the
joycons to move along the screen and attack, but using the touchscreen is far more natural and clearly the way the game was intended to be

After struggling to enjoy many games with the Switch's
Joycons, I'm delighted to report that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe feels great to
play not just with a Pro Controller, but as a portable game too.
The only down side I found was that using seperate
JoyCon's isn't really a suitable way to try and
play an intense racing game like FAST RMX.
Namely, the motion - controls when
playing with two
joycons feels smoother than they did at E3 (though the E3 demo also didn't explain the motion - controls in full detail, so maybe I just know what I'm doing now).
Though the motion controls may take a few minutes to get used to, once you do, they
play like a dream, and I found myself actively wanting to
play with a
joycon in each hand.
The Switch trailer also focuses on a number of control methods already -
playing using the
JoyCon controllers with the main unit docked, then
play with each
JoyCon attached to the Switch itself on the go, then various multiplayer options.
While connected to your TV the Switch itself is out of reach - you
play either with both
JoyCon controllers attached to the system's grip or with a Pro Controller.
I utilized my Xenoblade Chronicles 2 pro controller (I hate the
joycons) while
playing and found it to work extremely well.

JoyCon sat in the
JoyCon Grip are an ideal way to
play games for long periods of time, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller is definitely going to be a firm favorite for a lot of people.

playing the Switch, whether it's the
JoyCon controllers by themselves, the controllers with the tablets, or even a straight - up controller setup with attachable parts, which allows you to take up the controller like you would
playing an Xbox One or Playstation game.

Really though, I'm still smarting over the fact I can't actually
play Skyrim without the
Joycons attached while on a plane.
