If they didn't taste exactly
like the healthy cookies I made with
applesauce then I'd assume I did something wrong, but I think it's
just a taste I'm not cut out to enjoy.

Just curious but would you also suggest subbing yogurt for the

The no sugar added
applesauce makes the oatmeal
just right for me, but if you
like things a little sweeter, you might want to use a sweetened
applesauce.
I didn't have pouches but I had whole prunes so I
just added them with a bit of water until it was an «
applesauce like» consistency.
I don't have any experience baking with persimmon; it

like it would have similar properties to

just need to adjust the liquids and sometimes I use soda water «no salt» for the liquid if I want it to rise,
like pancakes.
What really makes these cookies taste
just like the classic is a little unsweetened cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, and unsweetened
applesauce... don't leave these out!
We always have a can of pumpkin in our cupboard, throughout the year, because I love using it as a fat substitute in recipes (similar to how you would with
