Capcom and Bandai Namco will also be having a few surprises at the event, and Microsoft will be revealing at least one new game from Rare, which could be possible a new banjo
Kazooie title or even a new Battletoads game.

But then on the other hand you have A Hat in Time, a Kickstarter project that, with the promise of bringing back the gameplay and magic of the classic Nintendo 64 - era
titles such as Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda and Banjo -
Kazooie, has managed to secure its funding in a really short amount of time.
Moving on, high definition remastered versions of beloved older
titles have sold well this generation as classics like God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Halo, Banjo -
Kazooie, Tony Hawk, and plenty of other games have returned looking better than ever to compete against new releases.
This awesome collection comes containing 30 classic Rare
titles, including one of my favorites, Banjo
Kazooie!.
If you've played any of the classic Rare developed Nintendo 64
titles, such as Banjo -
Kazooie or Conker's Bad Fur Day, then you're going to feel a strong sense of nostalgia as soon as you start playing Yooka - Laylee.
Even more so if the game you're making is an epic Banjo -
Kazooie esque 3D platformer that's meant to feel on par with modern triple A
titles and you're stuck coordinating a team of other people in much the same situation.
Despite initial promises that DK64 was simply going to be a Donkey Kong game in 3D and despite a demo for the game that focused solely on the
title's boss fights and classic mine cart sequence, the final game is really just a larger version of Banjo -
Kazooie.

Kazooie 18 years after its initial release is a sad accomplishment and realization as that should've been rectified prior as Banjo -
Kazooie, is not only one of my favourite 3D platformers of all time, but is another
title that I can slab onto my «favourite video games of all time» list.
As such, the team has opted to make a spiritual successor to one of their previous successful

Kazooie.
This warms our hearts, as the game serves as an effective callback to classic Nintendo 64

Kazooie franchise, it focussed on vehicle construction.
Banjo
Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts was another
title that made the Xbox 360 worth buying.
Rare's next
title has been teased intermittently over the last few months, although all signs point to a revival of Banjo
Kazooie.
In 2015, the creative leads behind classic Rare
titles like Donkey Kong Country and Banjo -
Kazooie set up their own studio and started planning a new character - based comic book adventure, with fresh heroes and modern visuals, but familiar game design ideas and principles.
Luckily, Kirkhope didn't let this unfortunate event interfere with his amazing composing work for
titles as Perfect Dark, Star Fox Adventures, Viva Piñata, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Civilization: Beyond Earth, and the spiritual successor to Banjo -
Kazooie, Yooka - Laylee.
He became a fan - favorite character when he starred in his own
title, Banjo -
Kazooie, which saw Banjo team up with
Kazooie, the back - talking orange bird that he keeps in his backpack.
For the first time since Banjo -
Kazooie released on the N64 back in 1998 Rare has taken the top spot in the UK chart, Banjo -
Kazooie is one of the
titles included in Rare's Xbox One exclusive Rare Replay.
Playtonic's new Kickstarter
title is pretty much a carbon copy of the N64 Banjo -
Kazooie games by Rare, and that is by no means a bad thing.
Initially, preview members will be able to play Xbox 360
titles like Banjo -
Kazooie, Mass Effect, Perfect Dark, and 15 more.
