kefir, you have to have
kefir grains and
milk.
I dry my
milk kefir grains and stick them in the freezer as backups (and to share) as they multiply.
The production all starts with
kefir grains, which are small rubbery bits and are used to start the fermentation process when making
milk kefir.
Now add in the beneficial bacteria in the
kefir grain to the nut
milk and blammo!
It may take several weeks before the
milk kefir grains regain their full strength and reproduce again.
Like regular
milk kefir, coconut
milk kefir is made by using
