love the
kids but not the other stuff that comes with it... i connect with people but the capacity i work in has me in a building 8 - 9 hours a
day... drained, pissed, angry, and fighting to believe that God makes a damn bit of sense having do something i really do nt wan na do... yep, that about sums it up for me... peace
I, on the other hand, live a very great life, have a
loving wife and
kids, a great job and am happy every
day to wake up and go to work and enjoy every minute of my free time.

Aside from leprechauns and wearing green, my

love summer break, it's just not much of a break if you're the mom; I guess our break starts the first

kids loved when we made sugar cookies for Valentine's
Day, and have been begging me to do it again.
And a true classic movie or two (we showed The Natural to our
kids the other
day — I will never ever get over my crushing crush on Robert Redford, but it's not my fault because he's so dreamy and such a cool character — and anyway I forgot that Glenn Close was the long lost
love!).
I'm going to make this in a few
days as my
kids LOVE cinnamon rolls and this looks amazing!
I feel bad for the
kids because they don't feel well, but more than that, they have gotten stuck in the house on
days when they would
love to be outside.
My oldest son brought it in for culture
day way back in elementary school (he's headed to college in the fall), and couldn't understand why the
kids were hesitant to try it (although the teachers
loved it).
My husband (picky foodie)
loved it, he made a cold «meatloaf» sandwich the next
day and said that it tasted like the sandwiches he used to eat when he was a
kid.
On a regular basis if I buy more than 2 - 3 bags of candy at a time the cashier rise her eyebrow while scanning, starting mid September till actual Halloween
day I can buy as many bags of candy as I like and she tells me «
kids love candy»
Valentine's
Day is the next big holiday and I
love making homemade valentines for my
kids!
Hubby literally doesn't go a
day without peanut butter and the
kids love chocolate chips so it seems this cookie meets everyone's needs all in one cookie.
My
kids would
LOVE if I made giant cinnamon rolls every
day, and Ian's just happy to actually have time to sit and eat.
In the past I always made Guinness Brownies on St Patty's
Day, but seeing as how my
kids probably shouldn't be consuming beer brownies with whiskey frosting, I decided to make a
kid - friendly St Patrick's
Day dessert (don't worry, adults will
love these too!).
Many of you probably already know that we sent our
kids to
day camp this summer - they are super high energy, both, and they
love to be able to blow off steam and spend time with their friends.
I
love pancakes... I have lots of different recipes and the
kids have them for breakfast every
day.

love baking inside on cold wintery like

day long during the summer I swear my entire paycheck goes to Costco These little bites are so pretty and I can just taste them now,

I
LOVE almost all your recipes... Hard to pick just one, so, here's my favorite
day of your favorite recipes: Breakfast: oatmeal and Phoebe's classic chocolate chip cookies, Lunch: butternut squash mac and cheese and classic chocolate chip cookies, Dinner: Heirloom tomato bruschetta (and I'm growing my own heirloom tomatoes in my container garden) and Rosemary and garlic grilled lamb chops which are divine (and SO different from anything my mother — who really hated to cook — would have made for dinner when I was a
kid) and classic chocolate chip cookies.
We may have
loved those little plastic tubs of tooth - achingly sweet, smooth - as - baby food applesauce as
kids, but these
days our tastes have matured.
As I mentioned in this post about running a half - marathon, my husband and I drink tart cherry juice two times each
day to help with recovery from our long runs, and our
kids love it when we add the tart cherry concentrate to smoothies.
For a simple snack that will refresh you on a hot summer
day, and one the
kids will
love too, combine freshly brewed coffee with several scoops of vanilla ice cream.

LOVE lucky charms and are so excited whenever I buy them (Saint Patrick's
Day and their Birthday).
