Last week Amazon released a software update to add Audible audiobook
support to the entry - level Kindle and 1st gen Kindle Oasis (the new Kindle Oasis already had it), but a lot of people still wish
Kindles had text - to - speech to read ebooks aloud like the Kindle
Keyboard and 1st Kindle Touch.
Amazon needs to add Bluetooth
keyboard support to all the WiFi
Kindles.
I own a
Kindle Keyboard that still works really good, but recently was looking to upgrade only to discover that
Kindle does not have an e reader that
supports my ebooks and audible books like my old
kindle.
Unfortunately, they're only
supporting Kindles from the last three years — as far back as the Kindle Touch, but not as far back as the fourth - generation «Kindle» (or the Kindle
Keyboard...) But that still leaves a lot of
Kindles that are now eligible for customer covers.
Yeah, it works on
Kindles that
support audio, such as Kindle Fires, Kindle Touch, Kindle
Keyboard.
I knew this
kindle wouldn't work with color, but when the old
kindle with
keyboard supports these new books, you would think the newer
kindles would as well.
