What i want to know is that wether i can publish two versions of same ebook one with colourful pictures for ipad and another one with grey shaded pictures for monochrome kindle and other readers.

Hi Joanna, i am planning to publish a travel ebook which includes a lot of colourfull pictures i took.i invested some money in to it for designing it with indesign but i want to publish a simple monochrome ebbok as well for kindle readers.

Thanks for all the info, I was wondering if you know of an iOS ebook app that supports doc files, because of my job I have to read a lot of documents but I don't want to convert every one to ebook so I can read it, besides kindle (that makes a little difficult to manage the files) do you know if something like that exists?

My question is out of the ebooks being bought from the Big 5 how many are classic books that people want on their kindle / iPad that are just replacing the printed version.
