I got all proactive and made September's Daring
Kitchen challenge recipe — an almond and walnut cake called «hrapocusa» — at the beginning of the month, and then of course didn't get my act together to post about it on time.

I haven't done a lot of gluten - free baking up to this point but I like to
challenge myself in the
kitchen and I've been learning more about gluten - free baking from Ricki Heller's «Naturally Sweet & Gluten - Free» — a gorgeous vegan baking book whose
recipes are exclusively gluten - free, as well as free from refined sugars.

I always love a good
challenge, so right after my positive endoscopy I got straight to work in the
kitchen, developing gluten free versions of all my old favorite
recipes.
Mazola is running a campaign for healthier cooking and are
challenging kitchen gurus to create a dish from their list of
recipes or come up with something brand new to share with readers.
Not because of the quality of the
recipe (I seriously love them all and wouldn't be sharing them if I didn't), but whenever I get to click publish on a
recipe that brings back memories or that helped me conquer a
kitchen challenge (and therefore creating a memory), I have a hard time hiding my excitement.

challenge — most of the time anyway!
Baking without eggs and gluten can be
challenging sometimes so I definitely did a dance around the
