But, my own limited encounter with
Kobo Help sadly confirms what many, many people have
said online from blogs, to the FB
Kobo page, namely,

I also have a twitchy back, so I have to
say, when reading on the run, it is so much better to carry my
Kobo than a 600
page hardcover (for example) on top of all the other stuff I carry on a daily basis.

Kobo @ christmas time after debating between Kindle and
Kobo, well what a mistake, 2 months in my rubber for
page changing started to crack, I contacted customer service who
said I could send it back and they would send me a new one, 1 month later the same thing happened so I contacted customer service again and asked them if they sent me a refurbished one and they
said yes, I stated that when I bought it I purchased a new one not a refurb.

say the Kindle refreshes on average around every 12
pages (double that of the previous PW) whereas the
Kobo Aura is every chapter.
On the description
page for the
Kobo Aura Edition 2 it doesn't
say anything about built - in OverDrive support; it's only mentioned on the Aura One
page.
Interestingly,
Kobo says they've been working with E Ink to reduce how often the
page needs to refresh, thus lessening the frequency of
page refreshes on the Aura's screen, but they are not using E Ink's new upcoming screen tech that is supposed to be an upgrade from Pearl.
Inside, the
Kobo has an updated processor - the Freescale i.MX508 - which the company
says boosts the speed of
page turns, and it has 1 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot of up to 32 GB of removable storage.
