release on September 1 in North America and Europe, with Hideo

No
release window for the game was
confirmed, though several shots have emerged of
Kojima's presentation.
Besides turning TGS into a fashion show and
confirming the game will
release sometime in 2015,
Kojima showed off an entirely new area that will be in the game.
Kojima also
confirmed at the conference that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will consist of both Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, as a clear visual connection can be seen in the Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Debut trailer, which was
released this week.
The studio's announcements since the
Kojima rumours began to swell haven't looked like it's even an option — while Konami
confirmed it intends to produce a new Metal Gear series after the
release of The Phantom Pain, there hasn't been much about other games.
Hideo
Kojima has
confirmed that Snake (pictured) is set to return in Metal Gear Solid 5 (the mustache still unconfirmed), but don't let that «5» fool you, this series has seen a total of 23 (twenty three)
releases up to this point, 17 (seventeen) of which came out in the past 10 years.
