LDS people DO believe Christ is the only begotten Son of God who lived and died that all mankind may be resurrected and atoned for sin, and rose on the third day.
I'm sure
some LDS people have made derogatory comments about religions before as I am sure that people of probably every faith have made comments (possibly untrue) about other faiths.
I know many ex-Mormons and they all say that they have been shunned by their family, friends, and
LDS people to some degree or another.
If you don't remember, you don't get in, which is how they keep
the LDS people coming week after week after week.
While it seems that there are some peculiarities about
the LDS people, I have to admit that what I know comes from sources that are not trust worthy like Google, Heresay, etc..

LDS church believe black
people are a cursed
people and would not allow them into church leadership until around the the mid 70's.
There many
people are black and
LDS and are so because they have gained a deeper understanding of its doctrine.
I don't know why non-whites were not allowed to receive the priesthood until 1978;
people have theories, but the
LDS general authorities have never come out with an explanation of the long delay.
Many
LDS Church members, in fact, object to these
people calling themselves fundamentalist «Mormons» as they feel there is nothing Mormon about them.
They even prefer to be called the
LDS church because they want
people to forget their past history of ignorance and racism.

people who immediately left the

I spent considerable time in Utah going to an
LDS ward and I was fascinated by the blind allegiance and cognitive dissonance that pervades these

Decide for yourself with a couple good books or reading, watching and listening to
people on the internet, explain why the
