The State
Labor Federation coordinated a «Day of Action» leafleting campaign at train stations and various in - district sites to put individual State Senators, as well as the entire Senate on notice that their anti-labor, anti-working person agenda will no longer be tolerated.
In 1906 they formed the National Society for the Promotion of Industrial Education (NSPIE) to lobby on behalf of vocational education and to
coordinate the efforts of supporting groups, including the American
Federation of
Labor, the National Association of Manufacturers, the National Education Association, and social welfare reformers.
