The Novice class demonstrates good companion

leash, coming when called, standing for a simple examination and staying in both a sit and a down position
with a group of dogs.

Advanced obedience classes refine the
skills learned in basic obedience, practice obedience in complex situations
with distractions, and usually include off -
leash work, such as coming from a distance when called.
If your most pressing concern is pulling without
leash aggression, I would recommend combining the head collar
with positive reinforcement to teach heeled walks, then wean your dog off the head collar as his
leash skills improve.
Link is now able to be off
leash with other dogs and has good pet dog obedience and good social
skills.

Once you have reinforced your dog's new
skill with terrific food many, many times in the home, and once he's giving you the asked - for behavior 90 percent of the time in that environment, then take it to the backyard or front porch (on

skills to be learned include housebreaking (being a neat dog), spending time in a dog crate (having some quiet time), walking on a
leash and coming when called (knowing who is boss), and fitting in
with the pack (learning respect for family members).
