the Legal Education Council — should be established to provide a forum for the co-ordination of the continuing review of education and training and to advise the approved regulators on the system for educating and training lawyers, regulation and effective practice.

We can not understand why initiatives such as the Pre-Application Judicial
Education (PAJE) course, which has seen considerable investment over a number of years from both the Bar
Council and partners across the
