My last Bali dive was Nusa
Lembongan which is close to Nusa Penida but has more sheltered coastline surrounded by fringing reef which runs from about 5 m to 20 m at a pleasant 30 ° slope.
I today with my partner went on scoot from Sengiggi to Nusa
Lembongan which is a pretty long trip as goes via Gili islands.

Just a 30 minute speed boat trip away from Sanur, Bali is the island of Nusa
Lembongan,
which is famous for its laid - back vibes and manta ray diving tours.
During one of our most recent trips to Nusa
Lembongan and Penida, we spent an afternoon snorkeling through the underwater temple garden
which has a number of unique Buddha statues that have been submerged.
I wanted to complete the course with Two Fish Divers firstly because I have wanted to travel to Indonesia for quite a while, but also because I was able to take an Eco internship across three locations (Bunaken, Lembeh,

We have also seen quite a few white tip reef sharks this week

Our luxury catamaran departs Benoa harbor at 9.15 am each day to cruise from Bali to Nusa
Lembongan where it moors alongside our purpose - built pontoon,
which is packed with activities for the whole family.
Nusa Penida,
which centuries ago served as a gaol for the less desirable characters of the Gelgel dynasty, is easily reachable by boat from Bali or neighbouring Nusa
Lembongan.

Lembongan is a small island 15 kilometres east of Sanur,
which is on the south east coast of Bali.
Most of the Nusa Penida's dive sites are drift dives but the advantage that we have being based on
Lembongan is that we can dive around the high tide
which minimizes any current.

The area is blessed with spectacular views extending across the ocean towards the beaches of Sanur and Nusa Dua, the islands of

which are far less crowded than those of Kuta or Uluwatu.

With a wide - open ocean view facing Nusa
Lembongan, the Keramas beach break is now the home to the Komune Beach Resort,
which presents night surfing spectacles, as if day surfing weren't enough.
If you prefer, you can stay at a Nusa
Lembongan dive resort on the neighbouring island
which has a range of accommodation.
We have our own small resort on the island paradise of Nusa

which is one of a group of three beautiful islands off the south east coast of Bali.
The free WiFi worked haphazardly,
which was a bit of a hassle as the 3G signal in this part of
Lembongan is very poor.

The shores of the north - eastern tip of Nusa

which is not to be missed by anyone visiting Bali!
There is a local fast boat
which leaves Sanur at 09:00, 12.30 and 16:00 and
Lembongan at 08.00, 10:30 and 15:00 daily.
The North consists of various sites along the northern edge of Nusa Penida and
Lembongan, such as «SD»,
which has a wonderful sloping reef where you can see many large reef fish such as puffers and angelfish, along with octopi, lobsters, and even occasionally mola - molas.
If you're feeling more adventurous, a full loop of the island
which will also take you via the iconic yellow bridge,
Lembongan village, Dream beach, Devils Tear and Mushroom beach will take 4 - 5 hours on a mountain bike, or less than an hour by scooter.
Nusa
Lembongan is a low lying island and has it's own microclimate
which has significantly less rain than mainland Bali.
The beach is a major factor in any island holiday and Bali has a coastline
which offers every possible water activities, including Bali surfing activities some of the best waves in the world, swimming with Bali dolphins tour, Bali cruises tour, Bali snorkeling, Bali diving tour, Bali sailing tour, and fast boat from Bali to

Lembongan Cliff Villas is located at the Selambung beach
which is now known as Coconut beach, lies between the valley of Jungutbatu village and
Lembongan village.
It Is not really recommended as an option for those wishing to reach the island and stay there, there are other fast boat services
which offer that, but if you are on a tight time schedule in Bali and just wish to see
Lembongan very briefly then this is a good day out.

Lembongan still has a very relaxed and undeveloped feel in many areas with some awesome beaches of white sands and turquoise water offering a sense of paradise
which is almost cliché.
