juice cleanse from the Dr. Oz show: four carrots, four apples (type not specified), two golden delicious apples, two 1 - inch pieces of
ginger, three cucumbers, six celery stalks, 14 kale leaves, half a
lemon, one lime, four plum tomatoes, two red bell peppers, one - fourth of a small red onion, two cups parsley, one large sweet potato, two large red beets, one orange, eight Swiss chard leaves, and six clementines.
I personally find drinking green
juice (a blend of dark leafy greens, cucumber, celery,
lemon and
ginger) to be very energizing and mind - enhancing.
In Asia though, there are a bunch of unique flavors like this one made with
lemon juice with hints of apricot and
ginger.
If I
juice the
lemon and
ginger, is it ok to
juice the rind also?
I especially loved the Doctor Earth
juice which is apple, kale, cucumber, celery, pineapple, swiss chard,
lemon, dandelion, parsley,

Maybe finely grate the
ginger into the
lemon juice and sieve it out after a while?

I also grate a little fresh
ginger and mix with the
juice of one
lemon to spice up my salads.

For this particular dressing I used garlic, olive oil,

I made a couple modifications though... I added some onion and garlic to the sauteed scallions and
ginger, then added some fresh
lemon juice and a little garam masala when the soup was done cooking.
