The question of who will take over the Federal Health Ministry was answered this morning, with the announcement by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull that he had appointed Greg Hunt as the Minister for Health and Sport, taking over from Sussan Ley's portfolio.

Sussan Ley remains as Health Minister, while Fiona Nash is now the Minister for Rural Health, and Nigel Scullion continues in the Indigenous Affairs portfolio.
He will bring the Aboriginal perspective to the Ministers with whom he will be working, and will be a valuable resource for both Sussan Ley and Fiona Nash.
