Ebooks are disrupting
business models left and right (even Amazon took it on the chin when Macmillan dared to stand up to them way back in January 2010), and no matter how much everyone loves (or claims to love)
libraries, they're not immune.
Here, let me summarize a report (from January 25, 2013) from the Digital Content &
Libraries Working Group (DCWG) that discusses the 15 items in The

business model and a practical framework for
eBooks that meets the needs of all parties.
