«He's an egomaniac devoid of all moral sense» ---- said the society woman dressing for a charity bazaar, who dared not contemplate what means of self - expression would be left to her
and how she would impose her ostentation on her friends, if charity were not the all - excusing virtue ---- said the social worker who had found no aim in
life and could generate no aim from within the sterility of his soul, but basked in virtue
and held an unearned respect from all, by grace of his fingers on the wounds of others ---- said the novelist who had nothing to say if the subject of service
and sacrifice were to be
taken away from him, who sobbed in the hearing of attentive thousands that he
loved them
and loved them
and would they please
love him a little in return ---- said the lady columnist who had just bought a country mansion because she wrote so tenderly about the little people ---- said all the little people who wanted to hear of
love, the great
love, the unfastidious
love, the
love that embraced everything, forgave everything,
and permitted everything ---- said every second - hander who could not exist except as a leech on the souls of others.»

Do you know the mathematical impossibility that even one of these could randomly come into existance?Let alone all of the building blocks required for just a single simple cell to come together to form any type of
living thing? There sure should be some blobs of fossilized transitions if evolution could happen. You people are real smart why don't you quit bashing Christians
and quit believing the garbage you have been fed,
and look up the evidence put forth by the Creation Research people. They have in fact proven creation down to a cellular level.Unlike evolution scientists who have no answers, but cleverly devised fables.Evolution is not even a very good fairy tale.Even if I didn't believe in God, Evolution is such a fools explanation of the origin of man that it
takes just that to even consider it true.I understand though that you athiests will believe anything that allows you to
love your sin
and hatred of the one true God.

take the time to study, read the evidence for yourself before spouting like so many other bitter atheists (that I once was for many years)... give
love a try you might enjoy it, it gives
live meaning
and true purpose, everything finds its place in Christ... I hope you find hope some day...

take action carefully in order that the sickness of our nature may be perfectly healed

Everything we read in the Bible surely has to absorbed
and considered in line with our experience of God — for those of us who have travelled with God for a long time this experience (I hope) bears out a
loving, caring, intimately involved Father whose example in the
life of Jesus is all about
love — tough, body -
taking - the - brunt - of - whatever -
life - throws, with the deeper soul fixed to God's promises of what lies beyond.
This is not just true of impoverished people, addicts, prostitutes,
and those we normally think of, but dignity extended to those who have been terribly wounded by the impossible standards of traditional religion can work wonders in showing people that God is not a tyrant whose expectaions we can never

loving Father who
takes us as we are.

Holiness for me was found in the mess
and labour of giving birth, in birthday parties
and community pools, in the battling sweetness of breastfeeding, in the repetition of cleaning, in the step of faith it
took to go back to church again, in the hours of chatting that have to precede the real heart - to - heart talks, in the yelling at my kids sometimes, in the crying in restaurants with broken hearted friends, in the uncomfortable silences at our bible study when we're all weighing whether or not to say what we really think, in the arguments inherent to staying in
love with each other, in the unwelcome number on the scale, in the sounding out of vowels during bedtime book reading, in the dust
and stink
and heat of a tent city in Port au Prince, in the beauty of a soccer game in the Haitian dust, in the listening to someone else's story, in the telling of my own brokenness, in the repentance, in the secret telling
and the secret keeping, in the suffering
and the mourning, in the late nights tending sick babies, in confronting fears, in the all of a
life.

When people do not know where they are in their standing with God, when people are uncertain whether a sin they committed caused God to

and make changes which allow us to
live according to God's will.

We can not remove sin from this world but we can be moved by the
love God gave us, in his only begotten Son, to share this
love, which is eternal, forgiving,

taking of
life — for no sooner do you
take the
life of such young ones away that, in the next moment, they are with Christ.
It
takes an adult self - consciousness — the experience of an adult
living and trying to believe but knowing doubt, trying to do the right thing but knowing failure, trying to be confident but sensing despair — to also know that there is a part of God that helps us through those obstacles, a part which is different from God's
love or Christ's gift of salvation.
Like Bonhoeffer, she reminds us that our faith
and life must be about more than our own comfort or security; we must learn to
take risks for sake of
loving others.
