Remove dutch oven from oven, and
lift the dough out using the edges of the parchment paper and allow the
bread to cool 30 minutes before
slicing.
The parchment paper made it easy to
lift out, easy clean up, and good to
slice my
bread on, too.
When foaming subsides, carefully
lift 3
slices of
bread from custard, letting excess drip back into dish, and cook in skillet until golden brown and center of toast springs back when pressed, about 2 minutes per side.
I like to line it with a sheet of parchment so I can
lift the
bread out for
slicing.
