Like other neutral colors it looks great in spring, summer, fall, and winter!

It's been this way for so long that I don't think I look good in anything
other than cool
neutrals anymore, and when I wear the one of the few pieces of
colored clothing that's still hanging around I don't feel
like me.
The Walnut
color is a nice
neutral dark brown and I
like how it's all the same
color, the straps and the carrier part are all dark brown instead of two tones on some of the
other models.
The purse makes the outfit zing with it's
color (and they have some
other beautiful
colors like «fog» and «midnight «-RRB- and the leopard print adds interest but I feel the brown and black kinda cancel each
other out, so they end up being an almost
neutral.
I also
like to add
other neutral colors such as olive and brick.
Not only does the right blending of
neutral colors keep your makeup looking fresh and barely - there, but it helps play up on your natural features so that you can add more definition to
other parts of your face,
like your lips!
I've also found it in a ton of
other colors and prints,
like this
neutral light pink and this one in red.
I've always
like that particular jacket, but when I saw they made it available in blush pink it got me thinking about how that particular
color is almost
like a
neutral because it coordinates with so many
others colors.
Especially this red wine
color goes well with the
other fall
neutrals like brown, dark denim and even pink pastel.
I looked through for what I had in the way of
neutral colors (the white pumpkins, black spiders and crow, and twig wreath) and searched the house for
other basic elements that could possibly tie in
like the vases and candle holder.
That being said, it is an easy
color for many people to wear, and it is also easy to wear with
other colors; it almost acts
like a
neutral.
Match it with a top in the same berry shade, pair it with
other fall
colors like olive or navy, or simply use it to accent a classic,
neutral outfit.
Stripes are just so classic and I love pairing them with
other neutral pieces,
like dark denim and stone -
colored booties.
Whether worn on it's own, or mixed with
other colors, grey is
like the cool kid of the family when it comes to it's fellow
neutrals.
This is especially good if you
like to re-decorate frequently... you know that whatever
color you bring in, whether for seasonal decorating or any
other time of the year, it won't compete with your
neutrals!
Pieces in dark, steely gray act as wardrobe staples because the
neutral tone is easy to mix and match with bright
colors (
like the aforementioned tangerine tango), as well as
other neutrals (
like tan or black).
When wearing these pastel
colors in fall, I
like to pair them with
other neutral or light
colors.
As I have already mentioned, white is a
neutral color, that's why these bottoms gonna look awesome in combo with any
other color top, so you are free to create whatever combo you
like!
But, as always, there are caveats - I would personally stick to one bright
color that wears well with
other colors and
neutrals (
like cobalt blue, baby pink, or butter yellow, above) and more conservative patterns,
like florals, geometrics, or painterly abstracts.
Pair with patterned pieces — from stripes to polka dots and everything in between, this cardigan is
neutral enough to combine with prints and
other colors,
like red, yellow, orange, and Kelly green.
I respect
other people tastes but I do not
like when personal tastes are given as objective facts and when sound quality (more or less objective) is confused with sound signature (greatly subjective, always, no matter if flat,
neutral, uncolored,
colored, bright, warm, or whatsoever.).
Our home is very Spring
like, since pink is my favorite
color, and
other pastels and
neutrals that go with that.
I
like a more
neutral palette with pops of
color in throw pillows and
other assessories.
I have found, generally speaking, that the rooms where you will photograph people do better in a
neutral, but the
other rooms are very fun for playing with
color (
like mudrooms, bathrooms, bedrooms).
I don't actually call my style this to
others but in repsonse to this Q I'm thinking «Ballard Barn»:)...
neutral different yet complementary gray toned walls throughout our open concept home downstairs... darker wood floors... leather sofas... newly remodeled white kitchen... white cabinets on perimeter with gray Quartz counters... large Old world mahogany island with creamy granite that looks
like marble with more
colors with chrome pulls on both... lots of textures throughout (grain sack pillows, chunky handmade by my mom throws)... artwork from my talented teenage daughter (straight knock off of Ballard styles of 3 horses.
Not simplicity in feeling
like I necessarily need to get rid of everything I have, sell our car, change our
color scheme to all
neutrals, live off the land for our survival, or move to a 500 square foot house or whatever
others might view as simple, but finding a regular rhythm of life that works for me.
So I choose to go
neutral with big items
like furniture, rugs, etc. and incorporate
colors and trendy styles through pillows, frames, lamps, curtains and
other small items that are easily (and inexpensively) replaced or repurposed.
I
like the sea salt do you have any
other recomendations, and what are your thoughts about repose grey through out the house as the
neutral color?
I
like to go with darker
neutral colors so that I can change my decor items more easily without one over-powering
color to dictate all of my
other design choices.
