As a digital nomad, I speak at events, meetups and workshops on sustainable travel, making a living from a passion

likes to experience, easy and delicious recipes, faith and of course technology.
As a twenty something with a 9 - 5 job, who
likes to
travel and have a life, along with
blogging, I have to squeeze things in when I have the time.
Under Blog, you'll find tons of other fun stuff,
like travel posts, my popular infographics, life posts,
blogging resources (
like how to start a blog), and more!
Her photos are perfection, she has amazing tips for anyone getting into
blogging (aka me), and she also does things
like book clubs and
travel diaries.
I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that since I take my blog photos ahead of time, my mood may change or conditions change where I can't wear the exact outfit I
blogged (
like I'm
traveling, or it's my girl time...) Then when you add in Friday outfits (since on Friday I do random roundups) and my weekend outfits, they multiply pretty quickly!
Have been
traveling, and still
blogging like normal so it has been pretty crazy over here.
I've been
blogging since 2010 and it has allowed me to break free from the corporate grind to
travel, work from home, consult for companies that I
like, and do so many more things I've always wanted to do but couldn't.
Hopefully one day the world of
travel blogging is one that values diversity and honesty over superficial beauty, just
like the very reason for many of us to
travel the world, isn't it?

I don't know when or if we'll be ready (if ever) to make the leap in
travel blogging that you have but this post has me thinking (and,
like you said, you never get a YES if you don't ask!)
From the outside world,
travel blogging can look
like a lot of jetsetting, free gifts and swanky hotels — for just few hours of work per day.
After years of technical writing (aka consulting), I'm about to leap into
travel blogging and am sure it will be
like freefalling....
During that time I have yet to really crack the formula that makes so many of my contemporaries» blogs so popular, but what I have discovered is a great number of handy
blogging - related websites, articles and eBooks that are incredibly useful for new
travel bloggers
like myself.
Like I said earlier, it's not easy to make money
travel blogging....
I started
blogging as well because
like I said earlier, most of the
travel blogs out there seemed to be about single people or others with no kids
traveling in first class cabins and 5 star hotels.
That's why I would recommend to set up goals around things
like visitor traffic, social media statistics, or later on your income from
travel blogging.

A few years ago, I told people that
traveling was my obsession, but over time that has changed to including
blogging and sharing my
travel adventures
like visiting Hobbiton or running with the bulls.
One of the things I
like best about
travel blogging is that I work for myself.
It's
like there is a very select group of people that are «popular» in the
travel blogging world, when so many of us are yearning for diversity!
However, I would
like to just use this opportunity to talk about environment consciousness and objective
travel blogging.
Seems
like there was an underlying theme and you were all pretty interested in how I started
travel blogging.
My trip out to Cyprus a little over a week ago turned out to be a useful one from a
blogging perspective — I finally managed to get some pictures of the British Airways Galleries Club Lounge at Heathrow T5 South, I got to confirm that I don't particularly
like traveling on British Airways A320 aircraft for any longer than I have to and I discovered a British Airways lounge I never knew existed — the one at Heathrow T5's B-gates.

like about
blogging is you get to meet other people you look up to, in a
travel blogging world.

I feel
like such a genious, because you still won't see any
travel blogging or social media advice on Fjords & Beaches, but find everything you want to know in the course!
A lot of what I learned in
blogging wasn't just from
travel bloggers but from others
like Lindsay of Pinch of Yum or Pat Flynn of Smart Passive Income.
