(2012), presented as a giant billboard over West 18th Street, and Sturtevant's Warhol Empire State (2012), a video projection that starts at dusk of Andy Warhol's Empire (1964) video, debuted earlier in the month to launch the Friends of the High Line's 2012 Spring Art Program and High Line Commissions program for public aArt Program and High Line Commissions program for public artart.

He has also received a number of major museum commissions recently including the Botín Center in Spain, the forthcoming High Line - adjacent location of the Whitney Museum of American Art, a massive new building for the Harvard Art Museums, and The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, California, which will be adjacent to two buildings that he designed for LACMA.

His site - specific projects and walks have been supported and commissioned by the High Line, the Queens Museum, Kenpoku Art Festival, the Brandywine River Museum of Art, the Delaware Contemporary, Storm King Art Center, Wave Hill, and Brooklyn Bridge Park, among others.

The mural follows Bayrle's 2012 commission in New York City, where the artist presented the work American Dream above the High Line, and his recent presentation of Flugzeug [Airplane], 1982 - 83, by Gavin Brown's enterprise as part of Art Basel Unlimited.
