The shelf over the toilet had been painted before and it was dark, too, so I found
Linen White chalk paint spray and fixed that old shelf right up!

Linen and Old
White.
The hutch is painted in Annie Sloan

Linen (two coats), and the trim is painted in ASCP Old
White, lightly distressed and clear waxed.
I used a
chalked paint from Rustoleum (
Linen White).
So anyway... thanks to my cans of Annie Sloan Old
White Chalk Paint, I painted the top of the table and used Charcoal for the legs and stenciled and dry brushed the top with French
Linen.
First I painted it French
Linen but it looked drab on this piece, so I painted over that with Pure
White (
Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan).
I was dying to try the new
chalk paint colors and I chose to use Pure
White on a couple of pumpkins and French
Linen on another two.
i had wanted to use the rustoleum
chalked line of paint too but found the choice of colors undesirable, except for
linen white, which is great.
Once they were separated I painted the wood with «old
linen»
chalk paint and then dry brushed on some «snow»
white chalk paint.
The décor is of Swahili orient with fine finishes in
chalk white and all the
linen is pure
white cotton.

Chalk Paint ® drawing inspiration from the lino prints of designers and artists from the 1930s.
First, some leftover
white paint, then some more French
Linen chalk paint - then when each coat was dry, I roughed them up with a sanding block and rubbed on a little more furniture wax to seal them.
