lowest mileage
levels, which it calls «SAAver
Awards,» the situation is much brighter at its partner airlines.
In addition, large families will usually be frustrated in their attempts to find more than two or three
award seats available at the
lowest mileage
levels.
It is also tricky to find
award seats at the
lowest levels certain busy times of the year, such as Thanksgiving week, mid - to late - December, and around three - day weekends such as the Fourth of July.
Also, there are fewer
award seats available at the
lowest levels during peak seasons, like summer and the winter holidays, because the airlines know they can get top dollar for
seats.
