GM will add a two - door model and a minivan to
the Lumina line in the fall. The base Lumina has a 2.5 - liter, four - cylinder engine as standard equipment.
Another con is that
the Lumina line was discontinued after 2001 (probably because the cars were simply built almost TOO well), meaning that you'll likely find a lot of miles and / or rust on a lot of today's Luminas circulating the market.
The primary downside to the entire Chevrolet
Lumina line is that you have to replace the intake manifold gasket at around the 100,000 mile mark, or you risk destroying the engine.
