MDF board is an acronym for Medium Density Fiberboard. It is a type of engineered wood made by compressing wood fibers with glue. It is commonly used in construction and furniture making as a cheaper and more uniform alternative to solid wood.
MDF board is known for its smooth surface and ability to be easily painted or laminated.
