If the portfolio overlap is on higher side, you may drop of couple of them and consider investing in a

Hi Sreekanth, In your previous comments you said that investing in 3 - 4
funds is enough (
like one large
cap, one diversified equity
fund, one balanced
fund and one
mid or small
cap).
But when I see HDFC Midcap and ICICI Pru Discovery
funds, I found that they have many large
cap companies along with
mid cap in their portfolio, hence I thought these
funds are not very aggressive
like DSP Micro
Fund.
For young investors
like myself, I believe in a mixture of small and
mid cap funds.
