I really
do recommend you convert your titles to
MOBI for Amazon upload and EPUB for B&N, Kobo, and Apple.
There are free — and easy to learn — programs available to
do the conversions from your original working file to EPUB or
MOBI formats.
Slightly surprised that draft2digital.com didn't get a mention, because they will produce a print ready pdf as well as a
mobi and an epub file, their royalty rates are good and they throw in some extra features like an integrated email shot and automated «also by» pages.

MOBI and KF8 versions of the first book for those who don't feel like spending $ 0.99.
eB Format
does all of the formatting and conversion process manually, and only leaves it up to programs for creating the final files when it is necessary, such as the final

Mobi file... Amazon has their own numbering system... therefore your
Mobi file
does not need a separate ISBN.
